Why Join Whip Salon?

• No book? No problem. With over 500 new clients trying Whip Salon for the first time each month, we'll fill your chair and help you build your book quickly. 
• Competitive wage or commission. Above market compensation, paid every Friday by direct deposit.
• Generous product sales commission. Earn 10-20% of your product sales in commission, based on the ratio of your product to service sales.
• Signing bonus. New hires with an active book of business may be eligible for a significant cash bonus.
• Referral bonus. You'll earn $500 for every new hire you refer to Whip Salon.

• Stylist Level System. Whip Salon has a Level system for Stylists from Level 0 (Associate) to Level 5 (Senior Master Stylist). Each level includes compensation and pricing increases. The requirements to reach each new level are well-defined.
• Merit-based Advancement. Whip Salon does not require you to stay at a particular level for a fixed amount of time. If you're talented and ambitious you can rise through the level system at your own pace.

• Drama-free. We work hard to keep our salons drama-free, by establishing clear policies, promoting open communication, encouraging team bonding, leading by example, and addressing any issues promptly and privately.
• Bigger tips. Whip Salon allows clients the ease of tipping on cards, resulting in a higher tip percentage.
• Paid Time Off. Full time staff earn between 1-3 weeks of PTO per year, based on tenure.

• Talent & creativity. Behind the chair, we're looking for stylists with a knack for producing modern, trendsetting work. Talented stylists bring a high level of skill & expertise to their work, aid in attracting and retaining clients, and help us uphold our excellent reputation. In front of house, talented managers & hospitality team members play a crucial role in shaping the client experience, supporting the stylists and ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
• Communication skills. Clear and consistent communication is essential for understanding client needs, explaining our services, reducing misunderstandings, collaborating with the team, and resolving conflicts.
• Coachability. Being able to accept constructive feedback, learn new skills, and stay updated with the latest trends is essential to helping the salon stay competitive and relevant.
• Resilience. The fast-paced nature of a salon can be stressful. Resilience is necessary to ensure the team can handle daily challenges with grace, maintaining high standards of service and fostering a positive work environment.

Education at Whip Salon

We take stylist education seriously at Whip Salon, and are constantly on the lookout for opportunities to bring in experts to enhance our team's knowledge. We also have a culture of nurturing our internal talent and giving them paid opportunities to share their knowledge and experience with more junior staff.
