If you're dissatisfied with a service you’ve received for any reason:
At Whip Salon, we understand that emergencies happen. However, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice of any cancellations so that we can have the chance to fill your appointment time with your stylist. Most stylists at Whip Salon work on a commission basis, meaning they earn a percentage of the revenue from each service they provide. Their schedule is set based on the clients who have pre-booked their appointments. When a client no-shows or late-cancels, that slot remains empty and the stylist misses out on potential earnings. The cancellation fee helps offset this loss and encourages clients to respect appointment times, ensuring the salon operates efficiently and our stylists can maximize their booked hours.
To avoid any cancellation charges, you must give 24 hours notice if you can't make your appointment.
If you will arrive late for your appointment, please call to let us know. Please be aware that if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule your appointment for another day. We work very hard to allocate the right amount of time for each service. Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting other guests scheduled that day.
Whip Salon is not responsible for any damage to personal property. We provide robes and capes for each client to change into before starting their color services in order to protect any valuable clothing. Note that even with professional, permanent salon color, there is a small possibility of dye transfer from hair to other surfaces including skin, clothing, furniture or bedding. It is the client’s responsibility to protect their own personal property.
Please note that unless otherwise specified, color services generally do not include a blowout. If you wish you have a blowout with your service, please add it as a separate service at time of booking. Whip Salon does not allow clients to blow-dry their own hair in the salon.
Note that the single process service does not include a glaze. If you wish to have a glaze, please choose the glaze add-on when you book your service.
Whip Salon offers exchanges on unused/unopened retail products within 2 weeks of purchase. Products cannot be refunded but we are happy to exchange your product for another product of your choice. If there is a price difference higher or lower, we will refund the difference or you will be charged the difference.
Whip Salon offers virtual gift cards online, as well as physical gift cards in-store. These disclosures apply to both forms. Furthermore, gift cards may be purchased or donated. Different rules apply to purchased gift cards vs. donated gift cards and some of those rules vary by the state where the gift card was issued.
If you have a question about a Whip Salon credit card charge please contact the salon where you purchased the products and/or services. We will always work with clients to correct any problems immediately. If for some reason your question isn't answered at the local salon location, please email finance@whipsalon.com.
Please do not file a chargeback dispute with your bank for a valid charge. Our policy is to permanently ban from all Whip Salon locations any customer who purposefully abuses the credit card chargeback system to reverse a legitimate charge, or to reverse a charge that was already refunded.
By giving us your email address, either via our online booking system, over the phone, or in person, you are opting in to transactional and marketing email communication from Whip Salon.
Transactional emails concern your appointments and include appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellation notifications, etc. To unsubscribe from transactional emails, contact admin@whipsalon.com. If you unsubscribe from transactional emails you must opt-in for transactional SMS. Otherwise, there is no automated way for us to keep you informed about the status of your appointments.
Marketing emails are low volume messages with news, beauty tips, special offers, promotions, and sales that we think you will find of interest. You can easily opt-out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message.
Please note that all inbound calls to our front desks, and all outbound calls from our front desks, are recorded.
